Our Mission

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, dedicated to transforming the landscape of elderly healthcare and supporting a myriad of other vital causes.

Our mission is to honor the memory of Andrea F. Heckstall, advocating for elderly individuals and families facing challenges in accessing quality healthcare. We aim to raise funds and awareness regarding critical healthcare disparities, ensuring that no one has to face these struggles alone.

Our Initiatives

We are committed to raising awareness and funds not only for elderly healthcare but also for a wide array of important social causes. Our initiatives include:

The 1000 Miles Challenge: This community-driven event invites individuals to run or walk a collective 1,000 miles while raising awareness and funds for healthcare causes that matter to them.

We foster a supportive environment where participants can share their stories and connect with others, creating a sense of belonging and mutual encouragement.

Why Elderly Care Matters

The need for improved healthcare access for our seniors is urgent. Statistics indicate that by 2030, over 73 million Americans will be over the age of 65, representing nearly one in five residents.

Furthermore, research shows that the average out-of-pocket healthcare expenses for seniors can exceed $6,500 annually, often leading to financial dilemmas. Alarmingly, 25% of older adults report delaying necessary medical care due to costs, highlighting why our work is increasingly vital in fighting healthcare disparities.

Vision and Goals

We aim to raise $10 million annually to support vital elderly healthcare initiatives. Simultaneously, we aim to cultivate a vibrant community of 1,000,000 subscribers and 10,000 active runners and walkers participating in our 1000 Miles Challenge within our first year.

We will establish strategic partnerships with leading healthcare institutions to enhance our outreach and advocacy efforts. Moreover, we recognize the importance of addressing a wide array of social issues. Therefore, our mission goes beyond solely focusing on healthcare; we strive to raise awareness and funds for other essential causes that unite us as a community.
